Spotlighted in the Unlocked Platform by Microsoft

This week, a series of publications is being released on the Unlocked platform by Microsoft on the topic of forming a responsible policy in the field of artificial intelligence. I am very glad that I was given the opportunity to be in the first cohort of speakers who share their experience, knowledge and insights in the field of AI. This section describes the factors of Kyrgyzstan’s success in the field of digitalization through the implementation of the Western open solution «X-Road» data exchange layer, better known in our country as «Tunduk». The timely implementation of X-Road made it possible to make a breakthrough in the provision of digital services to the population and business, as well as to be more resilient during periods of upheaval. The Covid pandemic demonstrated the effectiveness of Tunduk, showed the high importance of digitalization, and also accelerated state investment in the IT infrastructure of the republic. The introduction of AI requires a more thoughtful and reasonable approach to obtain maximum digital dividends and minimize negative consequences for society.
