Aibek Dunaev is a Central Asian software engineer and IT Executive with 10+ years experience in IT entrepreunership, software development, project management, system analysis and business intelligence. He is currently a partner at UmaiTaxi, a new generation taxi service, and was previously the CTO of Qawsar and BeSmart, the second of which is a highly successful online coupon company (think Groupon for the CIS region). At BeSmart he managed all IT development and operations in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, led a team of software engineers, testers and outsourcing teams, and managed a web system with over 600k users.
