KG Labs participate in update of the Law “On Innovations”

On February 4, 2021, by the decree №35 issued by the Head of the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Kyrgyz Government (further Kyrgyzpatent), Aziz Soltobaev, Chair of KG Labs Public Foundation, joined working group on review and update of the Law “On Innovative activity”.

The working group consists from the representatives of the Kyrgyzpatent, ministerial bodies, scientific institutions, Academy of Sciences and public sector involved in innovation ecosystem of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Law had been created in the year 1999 and over the two decades hadn’t been revisited to address changing environment, new challenges, changes in the innovation ecosystem. The working group had to review law and subsequent documents and present final draft Law in three months.
