Meeting with UNDP Mission on Digital Transformation

On April 26 and April 27, 2021 office of the UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic meeting with the UNDP Mission on Digital Transformation in online format.

The meeting was organized to consult on country digitalization priorities with key stakeholders and priorities in the digitalization space. The mission was intended to take stock of the current situation, priorities and challenges related to the private and public sectors engagement in the digitalization and develop recommendations for further enhancing accelerators and enablers for digitalization and tranformation.

The objectives of the meeting were:

  • Present and validate emerging key substantive findings and key priority areas for digital transformation support
  • Design conceptual ideas and frameworks for policy and programmatic initiatives in support of identified priority areas
  • Strengthen interest and commitment for whole-of-society and integrated approach to digital transformation, towards establishing an Alliance of Digital Champions in Kyrgyzstan

Aziz Soltobaev took active part in two meetings, where elaborated thoughts about current state of digital development and future priorities all stakeholders have to prioritize in order to achieve sustainable development goals outlined by the Kyrgyz Government and United Nations.
